Live WITH diabetes, not FOR diabetes.

Knowledge Is Power!

What Now?

Ok, so you have diabetes or prediabetes. prediabetes and/or Type 2 diabetes can be reversed or at least controlled. No matter, what level of diabetes you are, you must be about the business of controlling &/or reversing diabetes as fast as you can!

All types of diabetes are troubling and time is of the essence for each of them.

There are many things that you must align in order to control or even reverse diabetes.  they are:

  1. Your weight What is an acceptable weight?  How much do I weigh? What is the difference? How many pounds must I lose? Talk to your doctor.
  2. Set weight loss goals Using “SMART” Goals!
  3. Your diet You must eat healthy. Watch what you eat. you must be aware of what you eat and be able to determine if it is healthy or not.  Clean out your kitchen pantry, no more junk food!
  4. Get your Paleo Grocery List Here. and Follow it now. Watch this video before you go grocery shopping.
  5. Your exercise routine. Everyone needs exercise, now you must exercise in order to fight this disease. Commit to exercise a little more each week until you reach the level that you and your doctor decided was best for you.
  6. Your mind: Do you trust yourself to do what you know what you need to do? You must be determined to save yourself from yourself. Do you want to live or will you give up, and give in, to this deadly disease? Have you fallen into a depressed or saddened state, don't feel like fighting?
  7. How is your Self Esteem, do you have Confidence in yourself to get this done?
  8. Do you need Personal Growth and assurances to get through this? Have you set your goals for the future?
  9. Do you want to learn more about setting goals?
  10. Will positive Affirmations & Mantras help you?

I saw the real danger of diabetes when a friend of mine lost a big toe one on foot, then lost part of his right foot and finally, they had to take the rest of the right foot because a sore formed on the partial right foot and would not heal.  He is now in dialysis 4 days each week because his kidneys are failing. (Kidney failure is a common problem for diabetes patients).

His biggest enemy was his weight.  He just could not stop drinking that pop and eating those fast foods. He exercised, walked a lot.

Fortunately, he is still alive, only to realize that if he had controlled his eating habits, coupled with exercise and determination, he would not be where he is today.

Where will you be 5, 10 years from now? Will you be living with diabetes or will you lose one of your extremities and be hooked up on a  dialysis machine 4-5 days each week?

Where you will be, is your decision.  You are the only person that can determine to what extent and if diabetes will control your life. If you set your goal to live with diabetes rather than for diabetes, you must change your weight, your exercise regiment, and your mind.

I want to give you some of the talking points that you need to take to your doctor, nutritionist,  or care person to determine if it is right for you.
